We are seeking a Workshop Mechanic to become an integral part of our team, ensuring our wide range of customers machinery operates at peak performance.

In this hands-on role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain forestry and gardening equipment, collaborating closely with sales and customer service teams to provide exceptional after-sales support. Responsibilities

  • You will diagnose and repair a wide range of forest, groundscare, and construction equipment, ensuring each piece operates to its full potential and meets our high standards of quality.

  • We expect you to conduct regular maintenance checks on all machinery and perform any necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of our products.

  • You will provide exceptional customer service by advising clients on the care and maintenance of their equipment, helping them understand how to maximise the lifespan and effectiveness of their purchases.

  • We expect you to update and maintain accurate records of all servicing work performed, parts used, and time taken, ensuring transparency and accountability in all your tasks.

  • You shall assist in managing inventory levels of spare parts and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure we always have essential items in stock for quick repairs and maintenance.

  • You will contribute to creating and updating our service manuals and documentation, providing clear instructions and guidance for both staff and customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.

  • We expect you to participate actively in team meetings and training sessions, sharing knowledge and insights with colleagues to improve overall efficiency and stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • You must possess strong mechanical skills specifically related to forest, groundscare, and construction equipment.

  • Ideally, we would like you to be proficient in using diagnostic tools and software relevant to our product range.

  • You need to demonstrate the ability to read and understand technical manuals and diagrams for a variety of machinery.

  • It is essential for you to have experience with routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, belt replacements, and blade sharpening.

  • You will be required to communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance needs clearly without industry jargon.

  • You must show a commitment to always maintaining workplace safety standards and protocols.

  • Experience in welding and fabricating parts for equipment repair and customisation would be advantageous.
